Elisabeth Ness is an award-winning actor, writer, producer, editor, and creative entrepreneur.  Striving to make a positive impact on the world through entertainment onstage, onscreen, and in voice-over, the Yale alumna co-founded Good Porpoise Productions LLC, which makes mini-documentaries for non-profits, as well as socially-conscious fictional narratives such as the hit web comedy Redheads Anonymous and the current festival dramatic short En Route.  She has been selected for Take the Lead's "50 Women Can Change the World in Entertainment & Media".

 

Her work has been called "especially funny" (NY Times), "razor-sharp" (Washington Post), and "hilarious" (Times Herald-Record, Catskill Chronicle, and her mom); awards include 'Best Actress in a Sitcom' and 'Best Sitcom Screenplay' (Rome Web Awards), and nominations for the 'Raindance Discovery Award' (London), 'Best Actress Award' (Miami Web Fest), and 'Lead (Female) Actor Award' (Blackbird Film Fest).  

 

As a performer, Elisabeth has appeared onstage at such venues as Williamstown Theatre Festival, Lincoln Center, Ars Nova, Atlantic Theater, Inwood Shakespeare, and Signature Theatre.  She has been seen on CBS's show Bull; onscreen at Tribeca, Cannes Select, and in national commercials; and been a voice for Rockstar Games, the YMCA, and Bud Light, among others.  Her singing can be found on numerous albums, including the award-nominated Broadway Records Original Studio Cast Album of the musical Like You Like It.  She will be in two Netflix projects premiering in 2018.

 

When not performing, producing, or causing redheaded mischief, Elisabeth runs this monthly 'salon' for women entrepreneurs in the entertainment industry, edits sizzle reels and films, writes song parodies, and conducts a choir. Elisabeth runs Good Porpoise Productions.
