Marzy Hart was born in Stalingrad, Russia and came over to the states as Jewish refugees with her family when she was six. They moved to Coney Island and she’s been stomping the streets of NYC ever since.

 

As an actor she has appeared in several feature films including LANDING UP and THE INCOHERENTS, several web series including SLICE, FOR EX LOVERS ONLY, WORKING ON IT, and PAIR OF NORMALS. She recently starred in the short film 2 WEEKS and the short film JONES. She loves to take on roles that break societal norms, expose new points of view, and make difficult subjects approachable. Marzy works on her craft weekly at The Studio Act under the direction of Brad Calcaterra.

 

As a filmmaker, she founded the production company Besties Make Movies with her bestie. Their content is provocative, unapologetic and unfiltered. They’re in development on two series LINKED and LANDING UP as well as the feature film HEAD while in post on 3 short films.

 

When she’s not creating, she loves doing the usual badass things like archery, walking a lot because she hates the subway, giving her dogs strange haircuts and pretending that she’s Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
